Our Handmade Dice
Our dice are handmade in our Pretoria based studio using epoxy resin. We make each set with an eye for perfection and a cantrip’s worth of love. While we hold ourselves to the highest standards, this is a handmade product and thus there may be cosmetic imperfections and variations in colours and patterns. This does not affect the functionality of the dice.
Balance
There are many factors that effect the probability of a dice roll regardless of whether they are handmade or commercially available and as a result no set of dice is perfectly balanced. With this understanding we make our dice with the utmost care and take every precaution to make sure they roll evenly and well.
Handmade Dice Return Policy
If you are unhappy with your dice for any reason, we have a no questions asked return policy within 7 days of delivery. Please contact us at hello@mysteriumdice.com. We ask that dice are returned in the original packaging.
Handmade Dice Safety Warnings
Please note that some dice may have sharp edges and are not suitable for budding adventurers under the age of three. If a dice is ingested, please seek medical help immediately. Do not leave dice on or near hot surfaces.
Why does our d4 have a non-standard shape?
Due to the nature of epoxy resin, we have found that the points of the standard pyramid shaped d4 are sharp enough to cause injury. As we do not currently stock health potions, we felt that it was best to select an alternate shape that conforms to the industry standard for the d4 dice.
